Submission Rules

Submissions open

  • Student participation must account for at least 50%       of production
​
  • Student participants must be in grades K-12+
​
  • At least 50% of students involved must have an IEP or receive services as an English Language Learner                           ​
  • Film duration must be under 6 minutes 
​​
  • Documentary, animation, narrative and experimental films are welcome. New digital media forms including gifs, memes, etc., are also welcome!
​​
  • Students' guardians must sign a media consent form in order for children to appear on film and participate in festival.

getting there

Bus

School buses can park on 165th Street. 

Train

The closest train station is the 66th St. stop on the 1 train. Also accessible via trains stopping at Columbus Circle.

Spaceship

All Earthlings arriving via spaceship will need to request special access to the space portal from the theater manager.
